Mel’s Mob…Happy 2019! I’m so excited to be getting back to the blog and share information, outfit inspiration, travel, kicks, blog tips, and more this year. I had an amazing 2018, and I want that same energy to trickle over into 2019! So let’s get back to business.

Question: Have you ever tried to secure a pair of dope Jordans? Or what about those Yeezys everyone’s getting their hands on? It’s the absolute WORST when you feel like everyone’s got the kicks you want while you struggle to add them to your collection. Trust me, I’ve been there!

Well, guys… I’m here to help you guys secure the kicks! I get tons of questions about resale websites, or how to get the pair of kicks you’ve always wanted when they’re sold out EVERYWHERE. Well, I’ve got a couple tricks up my sleeve.

Tons of fake sneakers are being sold left and right, and if they’re legit, they’re at crazy price points. I don’t want you rocking a pair of fake anything, we’re keeping it all 100% over here!

So, what’s a resale website? 

A resale website is a company that buys sneakers that may be released at limited quantities, and they resell them at a higher price point than they originally sold for. This is where you can get those limited edition, collaborations kicks you see all your favorite sneakerheads wear. 

Let’s just jump right into it. First up…. 

Stock X– This is my favorite resale website and where I go when I’ve waited too long for a pair of kicks I liked. Sometimes, I just need to see them in person before making a decision, and if they happen to sell out, THIS is the place to go. You can bid on sneakers which is awesome because you set your budget and will never go over your limit, OR you can buy them flat-out for the asking price! That option depends on the quantity, but either way, Stock X offers full authentication so you know your kicks are legit before you receive them! 

GOAT – GOAT’s a website and app where you can buy or sell authentic sneakers. It’s super user-friendly, and they show you all the trending kicks, kicks that resale under the retail price, and the kicks that will ship instantly! (How freakin’ cool?!) Their resale stysyem varies from feedstock to sneakers without a box, and they act as a third party service to make sure all kicks are the real deal. If you sell a pair of kicks on the GOAT app, you can even keep the money and purchase another pair of dope kicks within the app or transfer it directly to your bank account! The GOAT is the GOAT, for real. 

And last but not least… 

Flight Club– Now this was the first and ONLY resale consignment store I knew about when I fell in love with kicks! I remember traveling to NYC on many occasions when I was younger and making sure my first stop was Flight Club, just so I could drool over al the kicks I couldn’t afford, LOL! You’ve probably seen your favorite rapper share pics of themselves in Flight Club with the sneakers wrapped in shrink wrapping on the walls. If you’re looking for a pair of kicks and you can’t find them, Flight club has them…but don’t get it twisted—you’re DEFINITELY going to pay! Beyond worth it, though.
