Spring has sprung! Yep, the temperatures are slowly but surely rising in Charlotte. Y’all know this girl has the biggest smile on her face right now. I’ve been building a list of super cute dresses to add to my wardrobe once this weather breaks, and it finally has! Thank the good Lord. As a contributor on WCCB, I always want to make sure I’m bringing the cutest style options to their viewers, so now, I’m all about bringing the bright colors, fun prints, and florals for spring. BTW, have you guys caught a live stream of my segment yet? Check me here chatting all about Spring Styles.
In my latest campaign with JC Penney, I LOVED all the spring dress styles they had in store. You guys sleep on JCP, but they’re really one of my fave retailers for cute options that are on trend and affordable. Seriously my best kept secret!
I mean, just look at this Premier Amour Sleeveless Lace Sheath Dress. When I put this on, I was immediately obsessed. First of all, lavender is so in for the spring season. This little number is so cute for a date, a nice event, sit down dinner, or you can throw on a cardigan and wear this baby to church. Throw on a pair of nude sandals, and you’re ready to go! Just a heads up that this one runs a tad small; I’m usually a true 6, but I had to go up a size to get the perfect fit.
Next up is another lace dress. This time it’s an electric blue fit and flare that would look amazing with a pair of leopard pumps or sandals. If you head over to my Instagram highlights under Fashion, you can check out my try-on session and see just how fab this dress looks on!
This next one requires a disclaimer: I’m not usually a paisley girl, but I thought I’d step outside of the box a bit! This Alyx Sleeveless Paisley Sheath Dress fits me like a GLOVE. I’d pair this with a denim jacket if it’s a little chilly out, and of course I’d try it with a cute pair of kicks. I’m actually super excited about styling this dress!
Last but not least, the shift dress. It’s a tiered shift dress at that, which is what made me love it even more. It’s totally different from something I’d pick up when I’m normally dress shopping; I’m not big on a lot of patterns and designs, but this one was TOO fun to pass up! Snag you an S.L Fashions Sleeveless Floral Shift Dress and have fun…this one is Melissa Chanel approved!
