What’s up, party people?!
I get tons of questions every single day about things to do in Charlotte. Whether people have just moved to the Queen City or are coming in town to visit, they’re always asking for bars, restaurants, and the best entertainment the city has to offer. Welp, as luck would have it, I’m quite the explorer; I love hitting the town and finding the best of the best places in this city I call home. Ready for the MC Charlotte Travel Guide? Let’s get it.
Hotels.
Lodging will make or break a visit, so I ALWAYS make sure to scout out the hotels that have charm, are squeaky clean, and really feel like a home away from home. Here are my top picks.
The Ritz- Carlton (if you’re trying to get fancy)
Food.
Charlotte has TONS of amazing restaurants and gems; you just have to search a little for them. Here’s the ever-growing list of eateries that have stolen my heart.
Nana’s Soul Food (Because I wouldn’t be a country girl if I didn’t list this first…ha!)
The Flying Biscuit– (Y’all…The shrimp & grits! *drools*)
Boudreaux Louisiana Kitchen – (Get the gumbo. You won’t be sorry!)
Pinky’s – (THE best burgers in town.)
5 Church – (The best brunch.)
8.2.0. Pizzeria & Bar – (They have karaoke, lol.)
Whether day or night, we all need dope places to make memories during our travels. Clubs, bowling, movies…you name it, I’ve had a ball there…
Entertainment
Studio Movie Grille – (It’s a movie theater during the day, and a club at night. SO dope.)
Sports games (Panthers, Hornets, or Charlotte Knights games)
Epicentre -(Bars, nightclubs.)
Red @ 28th (Hookah, music, drinks)
U.S. National White Water Center
Oak Room – (Club.)
Recess Charlotte– (They have adult capri sun’s, lol.)
Camp North End – (Cool creative area, hosting events, etc.)
If you’ve got a sweet tooth…
Sweet Treats
PopBar – (My fav!)
Crave Dessert Bar – (Dessert, drinks, and hookah!)
I’m a shopaholic, so I love to see what new cities have to offer. We have a few local spots, but here are my absolute faves…
