The Power Suit

Nothing makes a statement like a badass suit.

Remember those stiff black or navy suits that we used to wear when we wanted to look “professional”? Y’all. They were TERRIBLE. No character, no pizazz, just a plain suit that we’d usually pair with a basic button-up underneath.

I used to try and rock it back in the day, but nothing about a boring suit screams “I’m a boss.” Your ensemble speaks before you can even say a word. What do you want your ensemble to say?

My current obsession is the Power Suit. It shows that you mean business, but also that you’re powerful, bold, vibrant, and have a mind of your own. There’s nothing sexier than a good power suit.

What I love most about them is that you can add your own flare to it. Bright colors, prints and patterns, throw on a graphic tee, crop top, sneakers…you name it, you can do it.

I’ve currently got 5 suits in my arsenal that are amazing transitional periods. I wear them to blogging engagements, work events, brunch with my girls, or date night with my man, and each of them make a different statement!
